thanks, I'm sure that Ajahn Brahm has some wise thoughts about the matter, but I'm looking for reference in the actual pali canon. Does the canon mention illnesses of the mind mentioned in the OP or not?

Buddhas stance/view/words about mentally ill people
Hi, I am wondering if there are any texts where Buddha speaks about people who have mental illnesses as understood in western culture, meaning mostly psychosis or schizophrenia, Auditory or visual hallucinations etc.. any mention about this sort of stuff in the pali canon?
