Yoga is very useful for that purpose and that is the purpose of asanas. Try to practise some pranayamas also ( breathing exercises) that will help you to calm down the mind when you meditate. The whole point of asanas is to prepare the body and mind for dhyana ( meditation)

This sounds to me like a higher concentration , the buzz i the head i have felt in the third jahana , and what you explains about leaning to the right sounds like the second jhana, i sometimes feel that i am sitting backwards or turned in another direction. We have people our temple " meditation group" who have developed some skills or powers but this is usually from attaining higher levels of jhanas. I can not give you say if this is possible only with mindfulness but what i do know is that mindfulness leads to higher concentration and that ...

I feel just the same as you do when i go to the temple here i Thailand that we use to go to. I have been to other temples and just like you say some feels better than others with lots of energy, why this is so i can only speculate in.
