Re: Vipassana meditation as taught by Luangpor Pramote

My wife was a disciple of Phra Pramote, in Chonburi, following his meditation instructions for several years. It lead her to strange episodes during the meditation that kept her away from practicing meditation for more than 18 years, until now. She says that his method was misleading. Not offering a...

Re: Physical posture during seated meditation

According to Ajahn Brahm, deep meditation can be attained in the most unorthodox positions. Just be comfortable, according to the characteristics of your body. If you can sit cross-legged with the back erect, that's fine. If you cannot and you need a chair, that's fine. If you are walking or laying ...

Re: Physical posture during seated meditation

The Sacroiliac joint is of utmost importance. Not only should that joint be straightened as much as one can - it should be in a position where one can let go of dukkha there from. The SI joint is the absolute key to achieving rapture during meditation - and also for achieving rapture as a element o...

Very interesting.

No greed, good intentions, and probably a great bunch of good kamma from the past. That seems to lead to a healthy life.

Re: Recurrent Clostridium Difficile. Any advice?

Saccharomyces Boulardi, the probiotic that I've ordered, is a yeast extracted from lychee and mangosteen. That is the reason why I have decided to try it, given my experience with natural mangosteen. Hope it works. Please, let us know if it is helpful against C.diff. I am getting mixed results. I s...

Re: Recurrent Clostridium Difficile. Any advice?

Drink a few drops of oregano oil with some juice 3x a day for a few days. It's one of the most powerful natural antibacterials out there. Just be careful, because oregano oil can burn if taken undiluted. I used to sell nutrition & health products. Maybe oregano could kill C.difficile (or maybe not,...

Re: Recurrent Clostridium Difficile. Any advice?

Since I have proved that mangosteen is 100% efficient, I was wondering if somebody else has experience with other food that could bring results. How many of mangosteens did you have to eat per day? 4 or 5 is enough. The other day I could buy 4 kilos but they are not in the best condition, because i...

Re: Recurrent Clostridium Difficile. Any advice?

Rely on your doctor's advice and avoid getting medical advice from strangers on the internet :stirthepot: Yes,that is wise. But even doctors are confused about which is the best recipe. When I asked my doctor if may take Saccharomyces Boulardiiwould he said that I should try. But I am the one who p...

Re: Recurrent Clostridium Difficile. Any advice?

Yes, the doctor told me about fecal transplant. But he also said that it is not proved to be very effective.

I've just ordered a probiotic called "Saccharomyces Boulardii + MOS". It is not available in Thailand, so I ordered on iHerb and it may take a couple of weeks to arrive.

Recurrent Clostridium Difficile. Any advice?

Symptoms started 10 years ago (about the same time when I came to live in Thailand): episodes of constipation but releasing small doses of clear and transparent water - without any solid. Sometimes going around 10 times per day to the toilet to release only water, wetting my pants if I do not run. D...

Re: Wat Dhammakaya

The Sangharaja of Thailand is chosen by seniority. The current candidate, our abbot's preceptor, is simply the most senior monk on the council. Unlike many of the claims of the people here, the leading candidate for Supreme Patriarch wasnt nominated by the council because Dhammakaya used secret bra...

Re: Wat Dhammakaya

Why don't you ever share anything good about the Dhammakaya. Such as.... Because all cults, from Opus Dei to Scientology or Mormons, have a beautiful and benevolent side that makes them very alluring and seductive. e.g: I’VE HEARD THAT SCIENTOLOGISTS ARE DOING GOOD THINGS FOR SOCIETY. WHAT ARE SOME...
