Samadhi or Concentration (Ekagata) - though often very weak - is one of the 7 mental concomitants inseparably associated with all consciousness.

But Anapanasati starts with the breath meditation.

Ekagrata is a universal mental faculty.
We all have Ekagrata.
So what is meant by Ekagata in Jhana?

Thanks but if the feeling has been eliminated could one still choose to indulge in sensual pleasures but without the conditioned momentum that drives one towards sensual pleasures? Surely the action of sex is still a possibility? Even if you are a Sotapanna you still can enjoy the sensual pleasures...

To discuss this you have to define what ignorance means.
It is important to remember that path is gradual so the ignorance fades away gradually too.

I have found Mindfulness Bliss and Beyond to be really different than my experience in meditation.
Could you give an example where you think his teaching is not in accordance with the Sutta?
