Re: Anyone interest in helping the Torqz Project? \/,.

Namo Buddhaya Sattva _/|\_ Apologies for taking so long to reply, I realize 3 months is possibly pushing it a bit! I can understand having reservations about supporting someone you don't know. I am hoping this project will grow beyond just one person eventually, that is the plan. I have considered m...

Re: how to attain Stream Entry

Oh, look after sick people too. That’s a big one! -There’s plenty more, according to the teachings, though I beleive those are certainly some Hardcore Khamma-Hacks for you, to get you started. Like I said, See: The Buddha-Dhamma for further instructions... Namo tassa bhagavato arahato sammàsambuddha...

Re: how to attain Stream Entry

My thoughts/advice: Read as much as you can of the true Buddha-Dhamma and live up to it. Not the commentaries, not the introductions, not the words of others. Listen/Read the true words of Lord Buddha (The Buddha-Dhamma) as much as possible and follow the instructions given. Use your own discernment...

Re: What music are you listening to right now?

But fun stuff aside - thers lots of dhamma, all over the place, just keep your mind to dhammabusiness and enjoy life If only you knew how rare the Buddha Dhamma was in this Samsara! Dhamapada verse 182: Kiccho manussapatilabho kiccham maccana jivitam kiccham saddhammassavanam kiccho buddhanamuppado...

If you hover your mouse cursor over the Quote button... Ah right, thank you. I'll use that next time I'm on my computer. On my tablet I cannot hover. Still, wow. As a scientist I'm fighting the compulsion to plot posts over time to work out the growth function for the forum. Thats because Tablet PC...

Re: the great vegetarian debate

Hi Ron, Dawn, all, B12 is the only nutrient that a vegan cannot get easily. It can be obtained from the vegan sources of nutritional yeast or shitake mushrooms and I think from miso too and then of course from animal products (not vegan, but still vegetarian). What about Marmite or Vegimite.. hardl...
