Re: Latest announcement from Amaravati monastery. (Good dhamma inc)

Is this in accordance with the Buddha's teaching? Next thing is they want to be knighted by the queen. Ajahn Khemadhammo has been awarded an OBE Venerable Ajahn Khemadhammo (Chao Khun Bhavanaviteht) OBE was born in England in 1944. After training and practising as a professional actor for some year...

Re: Are atifical and the syntehetic the same?

I personally do not believe this, but I could not convince him. Do you agree with this? If not why you do not agree with it?...

Re: 99.9% of Theravada is primitive, false

I read somewhere on the internet that almost all buddhism is false. That a tiny vangaurd of intellectual elites and their followers within the past 40 have revived the True Esoteric message of the Buddha. Discuss. True and false are not relevant quantifiers for Buddhism. https://dhammawik...

Re: Suicide: "Men heal sitting side by side with each other"

Anyway, the topic of this thread is semi-legal at best, and there is no hope to actually discuss it in proper depth without venturing into the illegal or otherwise problematic. Well, I personally have always been reclusive since I became a Buddhist therefore I don’t have any compelling experience o...

Re: Suicide: "Men heal sitting side by side with each other"

From my own limited observations, men tend to think about their problems more objectively, i.e to analyze how legitimate their feelings are, so how they feel is not the center of their attention but how justified/rational that feeling is. Women on the other hand, tend to approach their problems mor...

Re: Dhamma that triggers SJWs

And yes, there is anti-feminism in the Dhamma, for example the suttas Anuruddha sutta and Uggaha Sutta: Hi budo It is budo who is attributing anti-feminism to the Dhamma. Do you think the Buddha taught with an anti-feminist intention? Nonsense question. The Dhamma is orthogonal to ideology. Certain...
