Alcohol takes away your sense of shame and inhibition you can also break the other four precepts from drinking alcohol.

i had two unpleasant experiences today. Each time I focused on the unpleasant feeling tone in my body and was aware of it until it passed away. I've always heard Dukkha as when your pleasant experience is over. But I saw Dukkha in the pleasant experience. I wasn't doing Mahasi I was just being mindful of the body and sensations.

Pleasant sensations

I was just meditating and I had a good awareness going. I noticed when there was a pleasant feeling there was a sense of dissatisfaction while it was happening because I knew that it was going to go away. is this a correct insight?

Im having some difficulty finding a guided meditation where the theme is let everything be. I've heard teachings like this from Ajahn chah, Ajahn sumedho but not in depth or guided meditations on this approach. Does anyone know where one wouldb be? Thanks.

I don't know how one could function in daily life without metta. Sounds painful. I don't care what the divine realms to the infernal says I'm doing metta.

I agree when I'm around people in a negative mood I do metta sutta recitation it was taught to make the monks fearless of tree spirits and eventually the malicious tree spirits protected the monks because they enjoyed the mendicants pleasant loving energy.
