Re: About Buddhist hell . .

LOL, you were under such a heavy attack? . Yes, most of them happened to me and some to my family members. Those whole healed us explained that there were two major enemies/culprits that were on-going but they are now contained. One from within i.e. in-laws, while the external ones are from neighbo...

Re: bad karma

Nibbana is a difficult for me to comprehend.

I know clinging or not letting go is suffering and this has taken me a long time to understand and practicing it is even more difficult but I am trying.

Hopefully, it will not take me another 10 years or more to report back to Dhamma Wheel again.

Re: bad karma

I regard your comments as spiritual fiction just saying… Yes, it does sound like a fiction as mind can be rather weak if not guarded. I don't know others experiences but these are mine and weird ones as well (20 years at least of constant weird dreams and sometimes almost every night). The uncomfor...

Re: bad karma

you don't seem grounded Yes, my foundation is weak hence not to risk. Hence, I am starting again to build up the foundation. Before I was easily guided away and wanted to see "things". "They" let me wonder for more than 10 years! I remember in some "places" I visited t...

Re: Killing a yakkha not parajika offence

You don't kill them. If bad yakkhas bother you, you call on good yakkhas to come to your aid. Like it says in the Atanatiya Sutta. Exactly as Bhante Dhammanando stated. I just report them to their "bosses" if they are troublesome. I now how to know recite the verse as prescribed and taugh...

Re: bad karma

Don’t wait. The time will never be just right. I have to stop as I could easily "wondered away" which I had for more than 10 years which is dangerous. Other people may be suitable and fine to meditate but for me I have the tendency to visit "places" without returning. As result ...

Re: lifespan of other beings

Here's the earliest account, from the Suttanipāta: Bhante Dhammanando good reminder. :anjali: There are few of the explanation in Suttanipata that I am tracking (observing) at the moment. The Uposatha Sutta given to Visākhā also gives the lifespans of the deities. This matches with the chart of the...

Re: One more rebirth before becoming a non-returner

then… how do you know about it?
your description sounds generic, anyway
Who he told is not important but he only told few persons that could accept what he said.
Put it this way he did not go around broadcasting to the world.

Re: Suicide kamma

I think suicide is only viable if you at least a confirmed sakadagami. Otherwise, as a wordling or a sotapanna, there is much suffering to come. The funny side of this is: only a Buddha can confirm with certainty your attainment. You may have some assumption, but it's not a confirmation. Yes, only ...

Re: Suicide kamma

He said from various religions teachings, so it may came from Christianity. I heard that Christianity said suicide will be punishment in hell, this is wisdom from a 6000 years old jealous god. No, not from Christianity but from Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism and Islam (Abrahamic faith). I did a researc...

Re: One more rebirth before becoming a non-returner

monks may be delusional after all… In this case it could be the layman that is delusional. Certainly not the old monk. Based my own observation majority of the layman are delusional even when things happened right in front of them and they cannot recognise, identify, see it or make sense of it. Whe...
