Among the renewable energy sources, hydroelectric, geothermal, biogas, biomass, solar thermal with storage and ocean thermal energy conversion can provide baseload power.
So many people argue that demands won't be meant and I completely disagree.

I really don't understand how people can continue to defend nuclear power given the current situation. In my mind it creates suffering and it's greedy. :shrug: Oh, I must be an evil greedy person because I support what is still the safest form of energy that man has yet developed. Energy Source.......

who is really qualified to say what is relevant or what is not relevant or what the Buddha knew or didn't know regarding earthquakes? I'd like to be introduced to this qualified person and request to study beneath them.

The reactor itself at Fukushima is a GE BWR Mark III reactor I believe. In the case of a complete meltdown, they will open the valves designed to vent steam and allow all the water to safely boil off. Then the fuel rods themselves will melt and turn into a shallow pool in the bottom of the containm...
