Abhidhammattha Sangaha mind maps 1 of 7
I created a number of mind maps whilst reading the translation by Bhikkhu Bodhi and would invite comments and corrections. The pictures were created using Visio and Word and anyone wishing to have them in those formats please let me know. There will be a number of uploads of pictures due to the rest...

Re: Buddhism High Level Concepts Mind Map
Thanks Kim, very kind words. Yes, the diagrams are a good aide-memoire for me as my memory is pretty bad and there are many overlaps between groups that can be confusing without being able to see them side by side. I take your point about rearranging the negative and positive but I have to confess t...

Buddhism High Level Concepts Mind Map
Hi all.
I've created a high level conceptual mind map of what I consider to be the most important terms and groupings I've come across so far in my study.
If anyone has any suggestions for improvement or corrections, please let me know.
thanks
Pete

Thanks Chris
It's a shame the whole picture wasn't there in the URL you gave, I don't know where I found it myself. As far as the video clips go, these sorts of claims are made all the time but checkout James Randi's organisation and the $1 million challenge to prove any kind of paranormal activity at all:- http...

Hi Rahula
I saw it displayed in a few temples in Thailand and I managed to find it online, but can't remember where I did now and wherever that was it didn't give anymore information about it. It looks like a woman, but there are many examples of figures being androgynous in such artwork, so I wouldn't swear ...

Re: Peter Foster
Thankyou all for your comments and I took no offence from the quote. I am well aware that writing or drawing our understanding of a teaching can never carry the essence of the teaching itself and immediately loses something due to it's conditioned nature. But I for one find these sorts of diagrams u...

Re: Mind maps
Thanks for the advice. In fairness, it isn't an FWBO picture - the wheel with the 12 nidanas arranged in this way was something I 'dreamt' whilst on one of their retreats.... including the 'transcendental arising' spiral in the centre which when 'cut around' in a true Blue Peter fashion means you ca...
