Re: Na Uyana or Mahamevnawa?

I made a bouddha statue of himself. I could not find any word. That why I 'm thinking to find a western monk in Sri Lanka in fact. 18days left before leaving. But thanks for links StormBorn. And Sarah obviously :anjali: Ah, the common mistake: Western monks are better than Asians! A local friend at...

Re: Should monks sacrifice their life to protect Buddhism?

+1

I dont know what I should think about that. First I would like to say bullshit. Because, this monk build his identity on be a buddhist. And if they attack buddhism, they attack himself. That why he say he want to sacrifice to protect buddhism.

Its not buddhism, its him ego.

My point of view.

"no wish" is the only wish Maybe something like: endless possibility is not using it - when a fragment bursts into a small big bang , the end is near, and endless possibilitie s with it activity. stillness in a state of awe No wish is not enough. Who's wish? Even it is "I dont any wish", that a wis...

Re: Do you have to have the death wish to become a monk?

We will die in anycase. We must dont be afraid by death when we go on the path because we have to die (personality/ego) to become enlightment.
