Re: Eternalism and Parinibbana (video)

Lol.. this group makes me laugh. The 5 khandas do not re-appear ever again and there is nothing outside of the 5 khandas. this is perfectly right. Those who have gross wrong view textually jump to conclusions and post sutta quotes out of context. It is funny and I'm glad I did not see this response ...

Re: Where To Ordain

In summation of the long discussion above: We should not live with, eat with or support monks with wrong view. This is a vinaya rule. We should not associate with people of different sects. This is a vinaya rule. What is wrong view depends on the person who believes or does not believe in the commen...

Re: Pali Reader Named Tipitaka Pali Projector

The Git version now has fuzzy typing support for the dictionary and the search dlg. We also added a sentence button which allows for multi-word literal search (search for a sentence).

Re: Pali Reader Named Tipitaka Pali Projector

No problem. The fuzzy letters feature will be added in a week or two. It was something I wanted to do. It is not difficult to do if we just add it to the word list that pops up when you type rather than the full search. We also plan to add that to the dictionary edit box as you type. We want to stab...

Re: Pali Reader Named Tipitaka Pali Projector

You can use fuzzy search and just type part of a word and it will search for any part of a word that has that pattern. Also the prefix button.. can force from the beginning of the word and then wildcard the middle part. Perhaps a video is needed.. or perhaps should just have a wildcard instead of di...

Re: Annihilation View and Khanda Parinibbana

unconditioned consciousness that's Nirvana There is consciousness which takes Nibbana as the object. It is described as similar to jhana . But Nibbana has no consciousness just like a Nimitta or my phone has no consciousness. People who do not understand Abhidhamma do not understand this "takes as ...

Re: Annihilation View and Khanda Parinibbana

At the end of life of for an Arahant all the aggregates cease without remainder. Nibbāna persist without changing and is endless. We can’t say that in final nibbāna there is anything else or that there isn’t anything else. Nibbāna simply is. It exists by its own intrinsic nature as the unconditione...
