Theme is often used in place of the pali 'nimitta' (as it is in your sutta quote).
Online research of nimitta will lead pleeeenty wheres.

Martial art 'gi' pants are good for meditation and work. Most I've seen have a gusseted crotch, which is what I love most about them. Material thickness, type of fit and color varies. Easy to find used online.

Negatives: No pockets, unless you make one.

I don't see how the criticisms of the OP could be based on Daniel Ingram's book. Is there a separate movement for Unusually Hardcore Dharma?
