Is there any reason why this is happening?

Hi Sirs
I do not know why this is happening, but I can not write messages in this forum anymore and the moderator is not replying to me.

Does not anyone know why?

Regards,
Luca

Re: The place of doubt in practice

For my part they are welcome. Great! The trouble is your posts are without much exception entirely fixated on demanding proofs of the supernatural. I think this is quite obvious that, if someone makes a claim like being able to heal illnesses with breath or knowing of people who do or have done so ...

Re: The place of doubt in practice

I would like to be precise here: I did not mean to use the term "story" in an insulting way, just as a recalling of something that allegedly happened but we have no evidence if it is true or not. I have no problem with people who believe this.

Re: The place of doubt in practice

Have you personally checked all "stories" and their circumstances thoroughly yourself by own direct personal experience. If not is not your own bold claim a mere "story"? Rare events is just that. Rare does not mean impossible just of sparse occurrence. Is it possible for you to...

The evidence I am looking for Theravada Buddhism is the nature of rebirth http://www.accesstoinsight.org/tipitaka/mn/mn.063.than.html Cula-Malunkyovada Sutta: The Shorter Instructions to Malunkya As said before, I consider the suttas as an interesting book and I respect people who believe in it but...

Re: Living among fools

Since some of my posts have been removed (I hope there is no secret if I say this), I will rephrase my point saying that many people call people who have as fools differnet opinions. And this is not so good as for me My comments weren't referring to yours, or to anyone in particular here -- just ab...

Re: Living among fools

This is what I am trying to do here, that is question the basis of the Buddhist teachings in a correct but straight way. How do you know that your way of questioning is the correct way? Can you actually address this? I've asked you about this before, but you didn't reply. Sorry I was meaning "...

Re: The place of doubt in practice

That doesn't help. I do not understand what help you are talking about. I did not mean to help anyone ;) I disagree. While it's probably true that it is doubt that makes many people keep themselves in check, the idea that uncertainty is the best or the only basis for moral living, is demoralizing. ...

We're on trial, not Buddha, he's our friend… I think the main problem in discussion here is that you assume that the teachings of the Buddha are reasl by definition and base your reply on this while I am dubious Can you really hold it against religious people if they take their beliefs for granted,...

Re: Is meditation the only way to reach englightenment?

It all depends on how to define "enlightenment" :) Here in Japan I met about 20-30 who claim to have reached kensho As far as I know Freud himself talked about the "oceanic experience" Koestler wrote about this as well in the chapter "The hours by window" http://2012dia...
