Re: Trump. And why I hate him.

Who is Tucker Carlson, and how did he get a show? I think he is just a stupid loser. He got the show because he would say what the FOX Propaganda network wanted him to say. Who is he? Tell you what I am--much smarter than that guy. Give me a show. And I will just so totally kick his ass. I vote for...

Or if parents/teachers have a progressive orientation offer them appropriate thinkers like Fidel Castro, Mao, Hugo Chavez and Lenin. Expose them to the classics and thinkers like Socrates, Montaigne, Confucious etc. and of course the Buddha.

Coffee gives me the runs, so I can't drink it anymore.

In situations like that I like to ask, "What would Wally do?"

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but it's a great article, more about the circumstances leading to Trump than the man himself. Re: My heart stopped while meditating (seemingly). What happened?

This scares me a lot robertk. Do you think I could have meditated the wrong way giving myself psychological problems now? I couldn't read much of this in your link without feeling really bad. Can you tell me what my options are if this is the case? Hi Kasper wrong concentration is no big deal so re...

Living in the Gulf and having many Arab friends I have to say, by and large, I find their sensibilities, humor, and way of doing things pretty much in tune with mine. Abortion is illegal, they are respectful of women, travel incessantly, love big cars, donate to the poor, have lovely manners reminis...

Did the Buddha teach we have choice? the great free will determinism debate

Exactly right. :anjali: All of that *trying* to observe etc is based around a subtle belief that there is someone who can make things occur.
