Re: Kasinas
How do you find using them, would you recomend it?

Hi Craig
Do you have a copy of the Vissudhimagga?
There are some instructions for the construction of kasinas in that work.
I haven't heard of anyone teaching kasina meditation or someone who can give you guidance.
Maybe those more knowledgeable can help.

Re: Kasinas
i'd recomend trying kasina if you think you need a different type of meditation or your meditation just isnt working for you.clw_uk wrote:How do you find using them, would you recomend it?
theyre different than say focusing on the breath or abdomen. i dont really practice the kasina too much, theres very little info out there on them.

Re: Kasinas
I have looked at the path to purification but dont find the advice to helpful thanks for the advice though
Think I will just stick to my usual mediation for now and maybe try them later on, mostly because I cant find any advice on how to use them on internet and dont have a teacher I can ask .
Thanks for the posts though guys
