Nice photo Kevin.
If you can reduce the size of the photo before uploading, it would be greatly appreciated.
Here's a tool that I use for resizing: http://www.picresize.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
kind regards

Nice photos above, Kevin.

The most Venerable Madawela Punnaji has arrived here in the U.S. for a few months! He will be traveling to many states of the U.S this year and then also to Canada, before he goes back to Malaysia, where they are understandably disappointed to not have him there for most of this year.

Here I am with Ven. Madawela Punnaji :

Is this the same Punnaji that Shaila Catherine talks about being one of her main teachers?
Pronouns (no self / not self)
“Peace is within oneself to be found in the same place as agitation and suffering. It is not found in a forest or on a hilltop, nor is it given by a teacher. Where you experience suffering, you can also find freedom from suffering. Trying to run away from suffering is actually to run toward it.”

I don't know, but I wouldn't doubt it. Everyone I know who has studied under him, usually comes out saying that he is the best teacher they have ever met. He gave the eulogy in Malaysia for K. Sri Dhammananda and was requested to stay and they almost hold him down when he travels to other places to teach. There are even many monks who look to him for guidance.

David is that the shrine room at your center? It's breathtaking.

Hi Laura,

No, that is from Wat Thai L.A. where Ayya Phalanyani was staying at the time. Yes, that is beautiful.

Here is the altar at my place:
