I'm not a Buddhist or anything, at least not yet.
I'm here to look around and mostly lurk and post where I feel I am needed. I'm a bit cynical for now, and a bit of a smart arse. I'm sure you'll get used to me. I am not here to troll/cause trouble in any way. I'm here to broaden my horizons.
Basically I have a very big internet addiction problem (So I signed up on this internet website to cure it!) And are looking for ways to help me help me. Perhaps some meaning in my life would help me get there, you know? Having trouble focusing on my studies and more due to it. Managed to go cold turkey for 2 months before I cracked. I'm not overweight or unhealthy in the physical sense, I used to be underweight but I am now normal and healthy weight. I have a full sports centre membership, but I barely use it as I'm always here on the internet damn it! I'm 20 years old. You may call me Buliwo. British.
There, that's my life story.
Cool emoticons by the way.

Greetings Buliwo,
Welcome to Dhamma Wheel.

Something to read if you're stuck on the Internet perhaps?
Metta,

Re: Hello
Hi welcome!
Many people who do not consider themselves Buddhist in any way do get a lot out of some Buddhist teachings, so that's totally fine. You may want to shy away from some discussions, though. But admittedly I often also do.

Welcome to Dhamma Wheel Buliwo!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.

Re: Hello
Welcome!
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
