Happy birthday Retro!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RETRO!
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.
- Sutta Nipata 3.725

Happy Birthday, man!!!

Wishing you all the best.

Happy birthday!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.

Thanks folks!

I'm having a nice day. I bought myself a couple of presents... another 6-month pass for Bikram Yoga, and a new PC (because my other one dates back to 2008 at least... I'm just backing up my files now so I can use the new PC soon).

However, after doing a double-session of Bikram Yoga this morning, I'm spent! I think I need a cup of tea or something... that cake above will go nicely with it.

Metta,
Retro. :)
