hip pain (bursitis)?

Does anyone has a hip pain on the side? I don't mean the discomfort/numb during meditation for few minutes but the actual pain something like the muscle is ripping. Did little googling and it came up something like buristis. I stopped sitting for the past week but the pain is still there. Any wise advice?

I had a bursitis in a leg once and could not even walk because of the pain. I recovered quickly with medication.
If it is still hurting, I advise you see a doctor. Waiting might make it get worse.
