Greetings Kim,

:goodpost:

Sounds a lot like my day.

The guy handing out Palmer fliers admitted he was really a Labor voter, but the local Palmer candidate was his sumo wrestling teacher.

The volunteers were all respectful of each other - appreciating each other's passion for their beliefs, in bright contrast to the apathy and/or despondence of a large portion of voters.

Metta,
Retro. :)

Good work, folks! Hopefully this will give time for the other guys to sort themselves out and recall what they are about.

I couldn't make up my mind about an image to post which represents how I feel about the election results, and about the possible future of Australia under Mr. abbott. So here is a selection:

Please recognizes that our new Prime Minister have a very good understand of "boat people". He arrived in Australia with his parents on a boat and they did not have any legitimate claim for refugee status. :stirthepot:

metta to all Australians - i think we will need to enhance our understand and practice of equanimity.
