Re: dipa ma
I read it and believe it was through meditation that she actually healed her grief.
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.

Re: dipa ma
does the book go into detail as to what method she used? maybe metta or vipassana?
Take care of mindfulness and mindfulness will take care of you.

I believe it was vipassana.

Re: dipa ma
If you mean Dipa Ma, I've read it.
It tells her story, and also other people's accounts of her, and then at the end there's a sort of Q&A, compiled of quotes from her talks at various times, talking about her way of practicing vipassanna and metta.
I really enjoyed reading it, she had to survive through such a tough life in so many ways, it was inspiring.
