CSCD Errata

Post by Bhikkhu Pesala »

I came across an error in the CSCD Tipiṭaka, so I thought it worth passing on, although it is fairly obvious, and trivial. I wonder if there is an update in the pipeline? I am using CST version 4.0.

I thought others who are familiar with Pāḷi might know of other errors — if so they could respond to this thread, then we can all make the corrections.

The error is in the last sentence of ¶ 205 of the Dīghanakhasuttaṃ
Eṃ vimuttacitto kho, aggivessana
Should, of course, be:
Evaṃ vimuttacitto kho, aggivessana
I reported the error to help at tipitaka dot org.

Bhante, the error is not found in DPR. I know the developer, Yuttadhammo, has made some corrections after being alerted of them by users (like me).

I've given up on CST4. Emails to them are not replied and nothing is done to improve it.

I got a reply from them thanking me for my input.

The error hasn't been corrected online yet.

Would be nice if it's followed up with concrete action, huh?

I still have it installed, in case I might need to search function that allows searching with words within certain distance apart. No other does this.

I also like the report feature, but its broken in this version. I reported on this.
