The Buddha and Bodhgaya

Postby cooran » Mon May 13, 2013 11:03 pm

Hello all,

Are there any references in the Pitakas stating that the Buddha ever returned again to visit or stay at Bodhgaya after his enlightenment?
(Not inclluding the period immediately after enlightenment.)

Hi Chris,

You asked this last year in May, almost to the exact same day:

Like me, you must be thinking about it during Wesak month. I'd be interested too, if there are some other references other than the ones I quoted in that other thread.

Hello David, all,

I had better results searching on the term Gaya:
Quite a number of mentions of the Buddha being in the area of BodhGaya:
