A posting by a 'juvenile senior citizen'

Do not click on this link if you are not amused by juvenile humor that is beneath someone of my age and standing. It is a funny -- in my opinion --, but it is a bit of a profane acceptance speech for LOTR which doubtless will not be to everyone's taste. Here is a chance to practice restraint.

Thanks Tilt, you put a much needed smile on my face!
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.
