Actually, you just have to have "site:www.dhammawheel.com" somewhere in your search query, not necessarily in the beginning. So, if I want to search "Ajahn Chah" on dhammawheel, these three suggestions would work the same :
site:www.dhammawheel.com ajahn chah
ajahn chah site:www.dhammawheel.com
ajahn site:www.dhammawheel.com chah

About google saffron, you could also add :

Thanks Adrien.

I just added all of those except one (which didn't pass the need to have virtually exclusively Theravadin site content).

That's what I thought, but you should know that he is kind of the dynamic of the jhana_insight yahoo group too.
I would say that his teachings are 95% consistent with theravada (you can find a pdf about a prayer that sounds mahayana to me on his website, and also one audio file about tonglen). You can find more of the mahayana stuff on the jhana_insight group (but it's still pretty rare), but it's always brought as a sharing experience in a theravadin context (an example would be his response to someone asking him how vipassana is viewed in tibetan buddhism).

I personnally am not attracted at all by any kind of mahayana, and I am very fond of his teachings. Anyway, maybe you should also take off the jhana_insight group, I don't know...

Hi Retro,

I Googled "Google Saffron" then searched for "long-term happiness" and on page 3 clicked on a result then when I hit the back key the results were different. This doesn't happen with regular Google.

With metta / dhammapal.

It seems to be a way of embedding a Google Search box that searches specific sites instead of the wider Internet.

You can already do that in Google with the site: specifier. For example, the following search will bring up all public posts containing the word "jhana" on Dhamma Wheel:

jhana site:www.dhammawheel.com
quidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur
(Anything in Latin sounds profound.)

Dear Sirs

Could you kindly add the following site to Google Saffron?

http://www.thripitakaya.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
