Thank you so much Sattva for filling us in on what you are experiencing - I admire your forthrightness and thank you for your openness.
All of us will have to face medical problems at some time in our lives, and your example will come to mind for me.

May you find the energy to maintain practice in some form, and may you have all the support you need, when you need it.

Much metta,
Chris

Thank you Sattva for your update.
I have no doubt that you are developing great paramitas by dealing with the difficult situation you are in.

Good to see you about Satva!

Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

May all living beings
owners of the their action
heir to their actions
born from the actions
related through their actions
be free from all stress and pain
May there be well being without end.

Thank you, everyone!

I heard in Dialysis two nurses talking about a 4 year-old boy who has been given no hope for surviving cancer after fighting it for 2 years. North Korea is loading medium range missiles. There is a new bird flu strain that has the scientific/medical team hopping. There are people hungry, being tortured, raped, and killed.
"Wishing in gladness and in safety, may all beings be at ease."

My biggest wish for myself is that "May I be filled with loving-kindness towards all beings everywhere" and I wish the same for each of you.
