Quote a quote a quote a quote...

I wish the quote feature only displayed the person's dialogue that you are directly responding to and not the dialogue that they were responding to and so on...

Then edit out that you find extraneous before you post.
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

My sole connection to the internet is my Android smartphone, which makes this task fairly difficult. :anjali:

ben is right. i have a droid too, there is no way to fix this problem other than just wiggling your fingers in there and getting the text highlighted that you don't want and deleting it.

the only other way to remedy this would be to have a mobile version of the site which would make using it on a droid/iphone easier overall.

perhaps this will come someday as more and more people use phones for internet.

It looks like there are apps that give a good experience on vBulletin boards, so if we do switch that would be something to look at.
