If you hover your mouse cursor over the Quote button on any post, you can see the post count — 227,597 for your post and 227,610 for mine, so 12 other posts have been made in the couple of hours between them.Mawkish1983 wrote:Old thread. What are we on now?

Ah right, thank you. I'll use that next time I'm on my computer. On my tablet I cannot hover.Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:If you hover your mouse cursor over the Quote button...
Still, wow. As a scientist I'm fighting the compulsion to plot posts over time to work out the growth function for the forum.

Not at all. They're very useful. See this earlier thread.PeDr0 wrote:Thats because Tablet PC's suck.

It is fit for purpose. I'd never do any work on it, but as a toy and a time-saving organisation device it's perfect for me.PeDr0 wrote:Thats because Tablet PC's suck.
I can either carry my big heavy laptop across school to register students and use paper diaries that (in my experience) I'm unable to keep organised with or I can use this lightweight gadget with virtually no boot time and keep on top of my life.
Summary, I don't think tablet's 'suck'.

To avoid rogue sites, hovering links in a browser should indicate somewhere (if not in the tooltip itself) where the link will take the user. In Opera, the tooltip shows the URL as well as the Title text. In Firefox and Chrome the URL is shown in a popup at the bottom left of the window.alan... wrote:when i hover it says "reply with quote".

No, a sizable majority of all posts, but not all. But I am pretty sure some of our moderators have read them all. Tiltbillings is especially hard working in that department, eliminating spammers, reading all posts.porpoise wrote: Jolly good! Have you read them all?
