Locked threads

Post by Pax »

From the Too many male mods here and no woman section locked thread:

Thank you for your suggestion Annapurna, but unless there is a groundswell of support from the membership and consensus among the mods and admins, its unlikely to materialize.

Ben

It's very difficult for a groundswell, or anything else for that matter, to occur when the only people permitted to post in a thread are admins/mods who then lock them again.

My apologies Pax.
Robertk locked the thread as I was writing a response.
I shall unlock it so that others may contribute to it.
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road

Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.
