I've just been on a bit of a suburban road trip, and much of it was spent listening to Kula Shaker's debut album "K"... so here's a song from it.

loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

Finally finding time for my Christmas presents:

First time I heard "Like a Rolling Stone"
I felt that magic and took it home
Gave it a twist and made it mine
But nothing was as good as the very first time
Poetry rollin' off his tongue
Like Hank Williams chewing bubblegum

Asking me, “How does it feel?”

Some fine music from Baltimore.

Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers Van Sessions. Some samples of a Buddy Holly's "Everyday" and Hall & Oates' "I Can't Go For That." The Hall & Oates cover is so tight.

Nice, but it makes me want to hear the original

Happy birthday John Mclaughlin. Back in the 70's I was reading The Upanishads and The Bhagavad Gita, and wondering about John and Carlos - and Shri Chinmoy. John always seemed so wholesome and radiant  Some of his music was certainly awesome.

Hello Marie.

I join your birthday wishes with this video:

The Hobbit soundtrack, by Howard Shore. Not as good as the soundtrack to The Lord Of The Rings, but still...
On spotify.
Then,
saturated with joy,
you will put an end to suffering and stress.
