Hello

Post by rohana »

Hello,

I've been lurking for a few days here, and decided to start posting. I'm coming from a Sri Lankan background, and I plan to extend my both my knowledge and practice. Hoping to join in for some interesting discussions!

Rohana
"Delighting in existence, O monks, are gods and men; they are attached to existence, they revel in existence. When the Dhamma for the cessation of existence is being preached to them, their minds do not leap towards it, do not get pleased with it, do not get settled in it, do not find confidence in it. That is how, monks, some lag behind."

Welcome Rohana!

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
