Finding a retreat

Post by SeekingDharma »

I am hoping to find a 4-5 day meditation retreat that can allow ample silent time and dharma teaching. I have found a few options online, but thought I would post here to see if anybody has any recommendations or insight to add. This will be the first retreat for my wife and I.

I live in southern California, United States - but traveling is an option as well. Anybody have any suggestions from experiences or resources to find various retreat centers?

Thanks,
SDharma

The Goenka retreats are 10 days, so I assume those won't work, but just in case: http://www.dhamma.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You can check with some of the schedules of temples and centers in the Southern California area:
