Mindfulness should be practised whenever you are awake.

In goenka style it is two hour in a day, what about in mahasi lineage?

As I said. To paraphrase it in the words of Chanmyay Sayādaw U Janaka:
Meditation is not just a therapy to help us get through life with less stress. Its purpose is to bring about fundamental changes in the way that we think, speak, and behave. If someone were to ask, “How many hours a day should one follow the five precepts?” I think you can see the absurdity of that.
Mindfulness should be practised always, not just during a couple of hours when you have the time to sit on a cushion. When we fail to maintain mindfulness, the mind will get defiled again, and we may do unwholesome things resulting in future suffering. The best thing, therefore, is to strive to be always mindful, then one will make no mistakes, and have no regrets.
Of course, most people won't manage this, but then they won't be practising according to the instructions given in the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta, "Ardent, clearly comprehending, and mindful, having abandoned covetousness and grief concerning the world. One should be mindful of each and every mental and physical phenomenon throughout the entire day without a break.

The Buddha says this after describing how it's not the right time for the other factors of enlightenment to be developed when the mind is in a certain state. But mindfulness is always useful no matter the state of mind. Like diligence and careful attention, it's one of those wholesome qualities that are always applicable and ideally should be applied at all times.SN 46.53 wrote:But mindfulness, bhikkhus, I say is always useful.”

You can do formal sitting or walking meditation whenever is convenient for you, it's not important when you do it.nintendo wrote:What is the recommended time for doing mahasi vipassana in a day
What is important as has already been pointed out is that ideally mindfulness should be practiced every moment. That doesn't mean practice mindfulness exercises that you do in a retreat centre as will feel really clunky and difficult to maintain, rather just keep monitoring your awareness of what you're doing/experiencing right now and keep coming back to that.
Pronouns (no self / not self)
“Peace is within oneself to be found in the same place as agitation and suffering. It is not found in a forest or on a hilltop, nor is it given by a teacher. Where you experience suffering, you can also find freedom from suffering. Trying to run away from suffering is actually to run toward it.”

To add to this, during somewhere around the last days of Ven. Goenka's course he says that we should be aware of every moment and every sensation with everything we do (i.e picking up a cup, the solidity, the heat from tea etc. any sensation that comes to the avenue of the mind subtle or gross) which is 'somewhat roughly similar' to what Ven. Mahasi Sayadaw teaches in a moment to moment awareness sense. Towards the end of course he also says that if you're unable to do 2 hours of sitting, try 1 hour ...and so on... or at the very least do 15 minutes but the main thing is to stay consistent and practice daily so as not to break the daily routine that your mind has developed (my words). On top of this he mentions that practicing sila should always be maintained to help keep the mind pure (my words).
