Alan is right. The whiter the bread, the sooner you're dead.
Why? Because in non-whole-grain products lack everything. No vitamins, no minerals, no vaccines.

@Stefan: Great to read your story.
I am still fighting with old, negative and compulsive eating behaviour.
But it seems, as if I haven't suffered enought, thought it gets better and better.
It really takes way longer to let go of old habits that I wish it would.
Hopefully I soon can overcome that.
