A place to discuss health and fitness, healthy diets. A fit body makes for a fit mind.
If you've never heard of it, a slackline is essentially like a thin trampoline that you balance on and (eventually!) do tricks on as well.
They run about 50-60 dollars and are a ton of fun!
Walking meditation just got more challenging.
"The point of meditation is to essentially push the ego into a corner so that it has nowhere else to go. The ego is based on attachment—our attachment to the body and to ideas. When the ego is cornered and has nowhere to go, the only thing one can do is to put it down. And when one puts down the ego, then that is enlightenment."

A lot of people in my town do it but I'm too afraid of my clumsiness to try
Gain and loss, status and disgrace,
censure and praise, pleasure and pain:
these conditions among human beings are inconstant,
impermanent, subject to change.
Knowing this, the wise person, mindful,
ponders these changing conditions.
Desirable things don’t charm the mind,
undesirable ones bring no resistance.
His welcoming and rebelling are scattered,
gone to their end,
do not exist.

Damn, that looks fun. It would probably help my longboarding (surfing) skills too. I'm gonna look into that. Thanks for posting!
