Get the wanting out of waiting
What does womanhood matter at all, when the mind is concentrated well, when knowledge flows on steadily as one sees correctly into Dhamma. One to whom it might occur, ‘I am a woman’ or ‘I am a man’ or ‘I’m anything at all’ is fit for Mara to address. – SN 5.2
If they take what's yours, tell yourself that you're making it a gift.

It is great that you are doing well. It must be uplifting to see the start of two monasteriesThanavuddho wrote:Ytrog wrote:Just watched it a second time.

It is also difficult, I am telling you... living in mud and noise and whatnot... and having evening chantings in a soaking wet tent.Ytrog wrote: It is great that you are doing well. It must be uplifting to see the start of two monasteries
But generally I have been fortunate enough to have place to escape the hassle of building.

I understand, however difficult isn't necessarily a bad thing isn't it.Thanavuddho wrote:It is also difficult, I am telling you... living in mud and noise and whatnot... and having evening chantings in a soaking wet tent.Ytrog wrote: It is great that you are doing well. Just curious, Bhante Thanavuddho, how is it you have access to the internet? I thought WPN was quite strict about not accessing the Net, more so for young monks.

I am not staying in WPN. This monastery is a new branch of WMJ in Ubon. Probably in WPN I would not be able to access the Internet. I did stay with WPN monks last year and the senior monk did allow me to use the Internet, but with conditions
Recently I opened the internet access because I needed to find some information, and it has been open from then on.
I am willing to close the Internet if I have to. I might close it in order to practice more meditation, and to set a good example for other monks.
