North American monasteries receiving novices?

Post by tealeaf »

Hello,

I've searched this forum, and have checked out most north american monastery websites, but have not had much luck.
I am looking for monasteries in North America accepting serious, long-term novices or pre-novices for the following year.

Thanks

Forgive me, but if you have, as you say,
checked out most north american monastery websites, but have not had much luck
, I don't know that we are going to be of any greater assistance....

I take it, obviously, that you seek a Theravada Monastery...
We would probably suggest Monasteries you have already investigated....

Unless you also try abroad, it looks like a faint hope....

Have you considered overseas?

Hello tea leaf,

Maybe trawling through this long, long list of North American sites could reveal something:
