The following thread is not specifically about the "ordination program", but about the organisation running it:

That's the monk who hit the headlines years ago for fraud, embezzlement, etc; but had all charges dropped. Many believe it has to do with his good friend, Thaksin.

What does womanhood matter at all, when the mind is concentrated well, when knowledge flows on steadily as one sees correctly into Dhamma. One to whom it might occur, ‘I am a woman’ or ‘I am a man’ or ‘I’m anything at all’ is fit for Mara to address. – SN 5.2

The Dhammakaya sect is expanding its activities abroad, such as Sri Lanka where they have also done their Dhammadayada ordinations:

I met a young western bhikkhu who had done this programme.
He said in the 4 months he was there in this programme as a naive beginner monk, he never once read a sutta. It was all secondary Dhammakaya material they studied. He said bhikkhus interested in the actual teaching of the buddha were actively discouraged from studying suttas, or doing other meditation methods.
He then encountered the whole Steve-Jobs-Rebirth hilarity, and decided enough was enough. He headed to Wat Pah Nanachat, which took him in and started to educate him in what the Buddha actually taught.
He also said the programme does not actually want the western monks to stay as bhikkhus after the course ends. He said it was essentially a propaganda programme, designed to get white western faces in monk's robes, to make Dhammakaya look cool and global in the eyes of the Thai followers.
Then,
saturated with joy,
you will put an end to suffering and stress.
