Ordaining & Medication - This could be a helpful sticky

As I mentioned in another thread:
"It depends which country you're in and what your conditions are.
If you're schizophrenic or bi-polar, the chances are small as some schizophrenics or bi-polar people can be aggressive. Not on purpose, obviously but the rejection is for the safety of other Buddhists.
Depression & anxiety is not an issue because meditation can help these conditions.
A temple or monastery close to your hometown or doctor's office would be the best solution. Or talk to your doctor, he/she will tell you if you can survive the journey."
I think this can be useful for those who are on medication. I would be good to pin this Ben or David. Unless there's already a thread like this then I apologize.
