Is there a Dhammayut monastery in Thailand for westerners?

Like Wat Pah Nanachat in the Ajahn Chah tradition, is there a Dhammayut wat in Thailand that tends to be more used by English-speaking westerners?
I'm looking for a Dhammayut place to visit for several weeks, when I go to Thailand later this year.
Mainly to get a sense of how the way of life there is different from the Ajahn Chah wats.

If you peruse www.wanderingdhamma.org there is a mention of the Wat of MahaBua. There is an English speaker there. Very interesting reports on that site.

The news section of that monastery states that there'll be no resident english speakers there now though.

I once asked Ajahn Geoff about recommended monasteries and he spoke very highly of a Dhammayut one in Thailand - I agree with the above poster, call and ask him!

There's a Dhammayut monastery near Udon Thani with an American Bhikku resident there. The Abbot is Ajahn Sangob.The name is Wat Mettakitkun.(I think).

Other than that I don't think there is a Dhammayut monastery in Thailand setup for westerners anywhere near the degree Wat Pah Nanachat is.

I was at Wat Pah Baan Tat a couple of months ago and saw a couple of western monks.

I have also stayed at a couple of more rustic branch monasteries of Luangta Maha Boowa both about an hour from Udon Thani, but if you don't speak Thai you'll likely find it difficult, I'm happy to try hook you up though if you want.

Hi James,

I have been for ten days in Wat Asokaram, the place where Ajahn Lee Dhammadharo taught.
A very kind German monk taught me and my friends.
Vice-abbot gave us books by Ven. Thanissaro.

Otherwise, very few people there speak English.
Paying homage to the Ajahn Lee Dhammadharo's memorial is one of the things that makes the place worth visiting.
