Am i a Buddhist in the slightest?

Post by lawman »

Hi guys.

I'm new to this forum as well as Buddhism. I know nothing about Buddhism compared with you guys, but Buddhism does seem to me "to be a perfect way of life". However there are certain beliefs/practices that i'm not sure I can believe... such as rebirth/reincarnation. Also philosophy, science and knowledge are, what I believe, tools foe us to gain a better understanding of what and why about life. If I cannot believe this and feel like this, can I still be a Buddhist?

Please, please I mean to cause no offence to anybody, it's simply questions I need answering so that I can follow a path.

Regards,

Lee
