Deities?

Post by nrose619 »

What deities exist in Buddhism? I know Mara is one. Are there any others?

Mate, Google is your friend. There's a whole category of Wikipedia about them.
These include Mahayana and Vajrayana deities too.

Mara, in some interpretations, is more the negative tendencies, hindrances, fermentations or obscurations of each mind than a being.
