Thank you, Bhikkhu Pesala!
"He, the Blessed One, is indeed the Noble Lord, the Perfectly Enlightened One;
He is impeccable in conduct and understanding, the Serene One, the Knower of the Worlds;
He trains perfectly those who wish to be trained; he is Teacher of gods and men; he is Awake and Holy. "

"The Dhamma is well-expounded by the Blessed One,
Apparent here and now, timeless, encouraging investigation,
Leading to liberation, to be experienced individually by the wise. "

I removed my site for a while because there seemed to be a problem on the server of my free webhost, that sometimes redirected links to porn and dating sites.

I have uploaded the entire site again now, and all seems to be OK at the moment. Please let me know if you get misdirected when following links.

The Mirror of my Site is still available if you do encounter difficulties.

Thanks for your hard work, Bhante. I have your translation of the Milindapanha on my lightweight tablet. Makes for great reading at night!

If I recall correctly, you mention that your translation of the Milindapanha is abridged. What is the missing content, and is it significant?

Quite a lot was cut to focus on the essence.

You can read the unabridged translation by Rhys Davids on Sacred Buddhist Texts.

In light of the repeated discussions about literal vs figurative rebirth, I have updated my booklet: An Explanation of Rebirth with a bit more detail and more cross-references.
