A word from the dhammapada

Post by pali1961 »

I apologise for the lack of diacritical markings.

In the first line of the dhammapada is the word “manopubbangama”, translated as “directed by the mind”

“manas” is mind and “pubba” is previous.

What is “angama”?

Thanking you in advance.

Thank you Dmytro.
The whole text is analyised in detail; just what I need as my pali is very limited.
I am also working on learning the satipatthana sutta in pali.
Thank you again.
