Apari­niṭṭhi­ta­bhāvāya

Can someone give me a translation of the words "pari­niṭṭhi­ta­bhāvāya" and "apari­niṭṭhi­ta­bhāvāya" that occur in MN 114:

Atta­bhāva­paṭi­lābhaṃ abhi­nib­bat­ta­yato apari­niṭṭhi­ta­bhāvāya akusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti, kusalā dhammā parihāyanti [...] atta­bhāva­paṭi­lābhaṃ abhi­nib­bat­ta­yato pari­niṭṭhi­ta­bhāvāya akusalā dhammā parihāyanti, kusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti.

which Bhikkhu Bodhi seems to translate in this context as "free from affliction" and "subject to affliction":

When a person generates an acquisition of individuality that is subject to affliction, unwholesome states increase and wholesome states diminish in him, preventing him from reaching the consummation. [...] When a person generates an acquisition of individuality that is free from affliction, unwholesome states diminish and wholesome states increase in him, enabling him to reach the consummation.

Sabyābajjhaṃ, bhante, atta­bhāva­paṭi­lābhaṃ abhi­nib­bat­ta­yato apari­niṭṭhi­ta­bhāvāya akusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti, kusalā dhammā parihāyanti; abyābajjhaṃ, bhante, atta­bhāva­paṭi­lābhaṃ abhi­nib­bat­ta­yato pari­niṭṭhi­ta­bhāvāya akusalā dhammā parihāyanti, kusalā dhammā abhivaḍḍhanti.

Sabyābajjha translates as "with affliction". Pari­niṭṭhi­ta­bhāva translates as "a state of being at an end or a consummation" -- I take it to be in the dative case.
