Difference between citta-samadhi and dhamma-samadhi?

Postby lojong1 » Sun Jan 13, 2013 4:46 am

What are citta-samadhi and dhamma-samadhi?
I just saw them in Samyutta Nikaya, (edited by Feer - bk 2 of 5, not in front of me right now)

What is the use of his knowledge
pertaining to the number of insects in the whole world?
Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us

Is ní bheimid beo ach seal beag gearr.

Thanks Tilt,
that is the dhamma-samadhi/ righteous concentration/ concentration of the dhamma.
I am confused now about where I saw these in the first place because they were referenced together online and now I can't find them in searches. Maybe they were in someone's forum signature.

If anyone sees citta-samadhi in the suttas, or any different dhamma-samadhi entries, give us a shout?
