has anyone read the book about dipa ma? if so im wondering whether it says how she managed her greif from losing her loved ones. thank you, metta, befriend

I read it and believe it was through meditation that she actually healed her grief.

does the book go into detail as to what method she used? maybe metta or vipassana?

If you mean Dipa Ma, I've read it.

It tells her story, and also other people's accounts of her, and then at the end there's a sort of Q&A, compiled of quotes from her talks at various times, talking about her way of practicing vipassanna and metta.
I really enjoyed reading it, she had to survive through such a tough life in so many ways, it was inspiring.
