And what is right speech? Abstaining from lying, from divisive speech, from abusive speech, & from idle chatter: This is called right speech.

It is an expression for the sphere of unbounded equanimity, although there may be perception there is no determining perception of anything as this or that, so feeling has ceased too. May be transcribed as "Whatever there is or is not." :sage:

Okay I get a sense of what suchness and thusness is. Thanks you all :anjali:

My next question is, can an unenlightened being experience suchness to the fullest form?

Blue Lotus,

There is no degree of "suchness" and thus the question of "fullest form" does not apply.

Can you experience suchness ? Yes. These moments are often brief and we seldom recognise it as such.
In order to recognise the state of "suchness" we need to develop a "knack" to be in such a state. In this regard an understanding of how the 5 skandha come together to shape and determine our reality would be extremely useful.

Okay thanks. I just don't understand how an unenlightened person can experience such a level of equanimity while still being deluded by the 3 defilements
