Motorcycling Dilemma

Post by tomyoung92401 »

I'm an avid biker but I am also very spiritual. Sometimes I feel the two clash because the biker community makes me feel like an outsider looking in. Can anyone offer any advice how I can reduce the stress within my hobby circle without compromising my spirituality?

How do you mean 'reduce stress'?

Your personal stress or stresses within the group?
"If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?"

I ride solo and don't stop often.
I am of nature to decay, I have not gone beyond decay.
I am of the nature to be diseased, I have not gone beyond disease.
I am of the nature to die, I have not done beyond death.
All that is mine, dear and delightful, will change and vanish.
I am the owner of my kamma, heir to my kamma, born of my kamma, related to
my kamma, abide supported by my kamma. Whatever kamma I shall do,
whether good or evil, of that I shall be the heir.
Thus we should frequently recollect.
